The Brandon Chamber of Commerce has existed as the voice of Brandon business since 1883. It consists of a diverse membership representing all business types, sectors and sizes. We are 100% privately funded and receive no outside government financial support. Volunteers drive our activities by dealing with grassroots business and community issues through action committees and open discussions.
The Chamber team is grateful for the many volunteers they are privileged to work with every day, and appreciate the time and energy these people give back to their fellow members.
The Executive Committee is comprised of directors who set the agenda for the Brandon Chamber of Commerce Board. They make recommendations to the Board regarding policy and strategic initiatives. They may also act in place of the Board, when the board is not in session. The structure and mandate of this committee is specified in the Chamber bylaws. It is comprised of the President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer and the immediate Past President. Members of the Executive Committee are selected and approved by the Board of Directors.
